Communicate With Your Teachers
They're there for you, even if it doesn't seem like it. I know everyone has that one teacher who teaches perfectly, you get them, but on the other hand, you have that one who doesn't make any sense, and may even be pretty boring. But, if you don't get something, nobody will know unless you tell them. I'm in 7th grade, and have learned this from being shy. As soon as I went to ask my teacher, though, they explained it to me one on one.You should ask to see them at lunch, or study hall and they will help you for sure. "We're preparing you for collage." They all say. That doesn't mean that thet won't help you along the way though.
To Stay On Track...
You need to know how to stay organized. Keep a planner to write all of your assignments in. Keep up with your homework and projects. Get a calendar to post when each assignment is due. Whenever you have a report that must be typed, get a USB stick to ave all of your work on so you can work on it at home and at school. Have a clean, quiet place to work at,like a desk, or the kitchen table as long as its quiet. You need to be able to look at your assignment pad, and find the worksheets or places in a book you have to read to be prepared for the next day. Just keep in mind that what you write can't take up a lot of room, but has to include all of the needed info.
The Night Before
Everything depends on the night before. Pick out your clothes, jackets, or whatever eles you need for school the next day. Make sure to pack your bag with all f your binders, notebooks, assignment pad, and of course your homework. If you do this, you're already done with everything you need to do in the morning except eating breakfast, and doing your hair. It's that simple. Now you wont be rushing to find that shirt you "knew was in the dryer.... or closet..... or was it in the dirty clothes pile?" in the morning. You will also have all of your assignments and you'll make the bus too.
